#2  Puesta del sol a Cap de Barbaria.

Sono le ore 19, la giornata in spiaggia volge al termine e anche l'ora più bella per godersi il mare sta finendo, forse è ora di ritirarsi nei propri alloggi per una doccia rigenerante e la cena.

Eppure non ne siamo proprio convinti, è ancora presto e non abbiamo voglia di percorrere la via del rientro.

Che fare?? Saliamo in sella al nostro motorino direzione Cap de Barberia per assistere allo spettacolo del tramonto. Siamo in perfetto orario, manca però qualcosa... ah già una birra fresca e delle patatine da sgranocchiare sulla scogliera all'ombra del faro des Cap. Don't worry dopo San Francesc al bivio per Cala Saona e Punta Rasa ci attente un grazioso supermarket: prendiamo al volo un pacco di patatine e una bella birra fresca (provate la Isleña la birra di Ibiza e mi direte!) e non perdiamo tempo.

La strada che conduce al Faro des Cap de Barbaria si fa largo tra l'arida vegetazione e le rocce, una sorta di paesaggio lunare, che al suo culmine si apre d'innanzi ad un paesaggio delimitato da un orizzonte senza fine, se non quello del tramonto che sta per sopraggiungere.

Scollinare e trovarsi di fronte allo spettacolo del faro incorniciato in questo paesaggio lunare senza fine è indescrivibile, mille sensazioni prendono il sopravvento. Sembra di essere immerso in una cartolina di viaggio vivente...provare per credere...

Sulla strada per Cap de Barbaria

Una volta arrivati ovviamente noterete che non siete soli, ci sono musicanti e qualche venditore di braccialetti e birre. A Cap de Barbaria è, inoltre, presente una specie di foro nel terreno che tramite una scala conduce ad una grotta a picco sul mare spettacolo a dir poco mozzafiato che vi lascio scoprire da soli...

Che fare non resta altro che prendere postazione e godersi il nostro aperitivo un po' spartano, per niente trendy e modaiolo, ma senza dubbio al tramonto e al cospetto di un paesaggio senza eguali e come sempre alla portata di tutti!!

# 1 Ses Illetes: an endless sea.

What to say? At first is necessary to remember how this heaven on earth, that is numbered among the Unesco world heritage, has managed to win, for the year 2016, the first position in the ranking of the most beautiful beaches in Europe and the 7th position among the most beautiful beaches in the world.

How to blame ??

Speaking about Ses Illetes, trying to describe it, is very difficult, because everyone need to live it personally, but we try: you look at a natural swimming pool, where its crystal clear waters have all shades of blue.

Spend a day at Illetes is an amazing satisfying experience from all points of view. Swim and dive in its waters is an all-encompassing experience for regenerating our senses: travel tip #1, getting carried away without delay to the water to regain the lost sense of peace. Ses illetes is located on the western side of the peninsula of Trucador and is long several hundred meters or even several kilometers, then: travel tip #2, walk on the shoreline barefoot, stay in touch with nature, sometimes do a bathroom and still walk enjoying the endless stretches of white sand.

Abandoned the spiritual and metaphysical side of this paradise, we move to the practical aspects.

Travel tip #3: bring with you a beach umbrella, high sunscreen lotion, water, fruit, sandwiches, salads and everything needed for a lunch at the beach. Even if there are some restaurants and "chiriguitos", the prices are quite expensive.

At least, don't forget that this beach is located inside the natural park of the "Ses Salines" and to access it, if you want to use motorized vehicles (like scooters, quads, motorcycles and cars), you must pay a toll, on the contrary nothing it is due for  pedestrian access or with public buses, bicycles and taxis.

Una settimana di vacanza forse non è sufficiente per ricaricarsi delle energie perse durante i mesi fatti di lavoro, stress e vita frenetica. Tuttavia, la giusta location e i giusti consigli possono rendere questi sette giorni di vacanza unici, indimenticabili e quasi interminabili. Il segreto consiste nel lasciarsi trasportare dalla magia del luogo, insieme ai suoi profumi, sapori e suoni. Il suono della natura, in particolare, è quello che più di tutti deve farci riflettere, mentre il vento ci scompiglia i capelli e il mare ci accarezza con la sua brezza.

Ecco, il quadro che vi ho appena illustrato altro non è se non la personificazione dell'anima di Formentera, piccola perla del mediterraneo, dove la dimensione terrena e spirituale di ciascuno di noi si fondono per dare vita ad un'esperienza di viaggio indimenticabile.

#1 Ses Illetes: un mare infinito.

Vi ho già parlato della spiaggia di Ses Illetes in un mio articolo precedente, che vi consiglio di leggere per completezza: http://travelaround01.blogspot.it/2016/02/playa-de-ses-illetes-formentera-la.html.

Che dire?  E' sufficiente ricordare come questo paradiso terreste, patrimonio dell'Unesco, sia riuscito ad aggiudicarsi per l'anno 2016 la posizione numero 1 in classifica tra le spiagge più belle d'Europa e la posizione numero 7 tra le spiagge più belle nel mondo.

Come dargli torto??

Parlare di questa spiaggia, cercando di descriverla, non le rende giustizia, ma ci proviamo: trattasi di una piscina naturale a cielo aperto, dove le sue acque cristalline e trasparenti hanno tutte le tonalità dell'azzurro e del blu.

Trascorrere una  giornata ad Illetes è  un'esperienza appagante sotto tutti i punti di vista. Nuotare ed immergersi nelle sue acque rappresenta un esperienza totalizzante per rigenerare i nostri sensi: consiglio n.1, lasciarsi trasportare senza indugio da queste acque per riappropriarsi del senso di pace perduto. Ses illese si trova sul versante ovest della penisola del Trucador e si estende per parecchie centinaia di metri, se non addirittura qualche chilometro, quindi: consiglio n.2, camminare sulla battigia a piedi scalzi, rimanere in contatto con la natura, ogni tanto fare un bagno e ancora camminare godendosi le infinite distese di sabbia bianca senza eguali.

Abbandonato il lato spirituale e metafisico di questo eden, passiamo agli aspetti pratici.

Consiglio n. 3: munirsi di ombrellone, protezione solare elevata, acqua, frutta, panini, insalate, insomma tutto l'occorrente per un pranzo al sacco in spiaggia. Dico questo poiché Illetes, in quanto località turistica molto rinomata non è affatto economica. Vi sono ristoranti, bar e lidi, ma i prezzi sono piuttosto elevati, senza subbio si tratta di location dagli standard elevati e di altissima qualità, però non sicuramente alla portata di tutti.

Mare, sole, sabbia, invece, sono gratis e alla portata di tutti, sempre!!

Ricordo, infine, che la spiaggia è situata all'interno del parco naturale delle saline e per accedervi, nel caso si utilizzino mezzi motorizzati (scooter, quad, moto e auto), è necessario pagare un pedaggio, al contrario nulla è dovuto per accessi pedonali o con bus pubblici, biciclette e taxi.

Playa de ses Illetes, Formentera, the most beautiful beach in Europe.

Of course the most beautiful beach of Formentera is Playa de ses Illetes, located in the Natural Park of Saline (UNESCO), on the western side of the peninsula Trucador, between Punta des Pas and Plageta des Carregador, behind Platja de Llevant .

Playa de ses Illetes literally means beach of the  little islands, because it's rounded by various islets that dampen the entry of waves and currents, making it a real natural pool. You can not say the same for Platja de Llevant, on the east side, that's exposed to currents and strong breezes and  represents the ideal location for surfers, windsurfers and kitesurfing.

Thanks to the fine white sand, with shades of pink and turquoise water, ses Illetes allows us to understand what means to be in a true paradise on earth: it's a real paradise, easy to reach with a one-way ticket, because nobody wants to came back home!!

The seabed is a real prairie poseidonie stated, also, World Heritage Site, ideal for those who enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving, although threatened by suction anchors of the luxurious yachts moor, in summer, in the bay .

Since the beach is situated inside the natural park to access it, if you use motorized vehicles (scooters, quads, motorcycles and cars), you must pay a toll, on the contrary nothing is due to pedestrian access, with public buses, bicycles and taxis.

Rates change according to the season, low-medium-high season, such as changing from a minimum of € 2.00 = in June to a maximum of € 4,00 = in July-August for scooters, rather than a sum equal to € 8,00 = for cars in the month of July-August. The ticket is valid for a full day from 9 am to 19 pm.

Alternatively, for those who are on holiday on the island of Ibiza there is the possibility of day trips from the port of Ibiza, Playa den Bossa or Figueretas to the port of La Savina Formentera, or directly on the beach of Ses Illetes. This definitely represents an opportunity to diversify the holiday and visit the nearby Formentera and the beautiful Ses Illetes.
